Welcome to Doximity! You’re probably wondering, what can I do now? We’ve got you covered. In this list, we’ll cover the must do’s to make your Doximity experience amazing.
I want to reduce the time I waste doing administrative tasks.
- 1. Send and receive faxes from the Doximity app
Doximity gives every physician, NP, PA and pharmacist a free, HIPAA-secure efax number. Fax colleagues electronically through the ease of the Doximity mobile app, or the Doximity website. Fax to and from any domestic fax number.
Get your free Doximity efax number. It works like a charm.
- 2. Call patients from your cell phone, display your office number on their Caller ID
The Doximity Dialer is an another app by Doximity that allows you to contact your patients using your cell phone. Dialer masks your mobile number and allows you to choose the number you’d like to display on your patient’s caller ID.
I am looking for new career opportunities.
- 1. Your Doximity profile is your online CV
- 2. Use Career Navigator at your disposal
You also have the option to compare county-level salary data in your specialty on the Career Navigator page, this is the largest physician salary report up to date.
I want to market myself and my practice.
- 1. Get a free website
Through your Doximity account, you also get a free website. A Doximity QuickSite is your own website, with your own domain name. For example, you can claim "DrPeteAlperin.com" as your QuickSite domain name; this allows your name to show up high on Google search results when colleagues and patients alike Google you. Customize the look and feel of your Quicksite with templates and color schemes.
- 2. Your Doximity profile automatically syncs with your US News Doctor Finder profile
U.S. News & World Report’s “Doctor Finder” physician directory is powered by Doximity. The information on your Doximity profile automatically syncs with your Doctor Finder profile. Doctor Finder exists to help consumers find and research doctors who are licensed to practice in the United States.
Users can search for doctors by specialty, location, gender, name or a combination of these attributes, and they can find specific information about each doctor’s education, training, publications, clinical interests and more.
- 3. Add your profile photo
Doximity members with photos appear first in searches. We found that doctors with profile photos are viewed TWICE as often as doctors without photos. Whether it’s a prospective employer looking you up online, or a fellow physician reaching out for a referral, your profile photo is what they see first.
Add a photo here.
- 4. Send us your CV
Your Doximity profile is your CV, so make sure your profile looks its best. Add your education, experience, and contact information. Send us your CV and we can update your profile for you:
Email us: firstname.lastname@example.org
- 5. Add Interests
Interests allow for better referral outreach and a personalized newsfeed.
I want to search for other physicians, NPs, PAs and pharmacists.
- 1. Connect with your colleagues and build your network
Search for people you may know from your alma mater, residency training, or referrals to strengthen your network. We'll even suggest connections and help you manage your contacts.
- 2. I want to earn free CME
Read and catch up on CME credits at your leisure. You can earn 0.5 credit of free CME for each eligible article read. CME eligible articles have a orange certificate icon.
Use Doximity's CME Tracker here.
I’m always on my phone.
