If you'd like to change your camera source to your external camera, please follow the browser-specific options below. Please note, if you are experiencing issues with your camera or audio source on Safari, download Chrome and select your camera source.

Chrome

Webcam

Option 1: Type Chrome://settings/content/camera in address bar

Option 2: Settings Menu>>Privacy and Security>>Site Settings>>Camera

After selecting the webcam, relaunch the Video Call

Microphone

Option 1: Type Chrome://settings/content/microphone in address bar

Option 2: Settings Menu>>Privacy and Security>>Site Settings>>Microphone

After selecting the microphone, relaunch the Video Call

Firefox

Webcam

Option 1: Type about:preferences#privacy in the address bar then scroll down to the Permissions section, and click Settings. There you can choose which websites to Allow access to your microphone and camera.

Option 2: Options>>Privacy & Security>>

1. Scroll down till you see: Camera [Settings…]
2. Remove Doximity website
3. Refresh Video call
4. Select the webcam you want to use. 

 

To choose or switch your microphone or camera in Firefox, you'll need to go into your video call. From there, click on the Mic or Camera icon that's just to the left of your URL address, and choose your microphone and camera from the dropdown menu.

Option 1:Type edge://settings/content/camera  in the address bar

Option 2:Settings>>Site Permissions>>Camera

Select Camera. Go back to the previous page or restart the Video Call. 

 

 

Microphone

Option 2:Settings>>Site Permissions>>Microphone
