How To Choose Your Audio And Video Source On Desktop Dialer Video Calls

During Dialer Video calls, you will now be able to select your audio and video source before you enter the call from the Dialer Video preview screen, or you can opt to adjust these settings from within the Call. If you use a webcam on your computer or Bluetooth headphones, you can now switch between your devices seamlessly, and your selections will be saved for future video calls!  

 

To change your video source from the Dialer Video preview screen:

1. To start a call, enter your patient's cell phone number in the blank field and click the green 'Video' button. 

2. After clicking the green 'Video' button, you will be redirected to the Dialer Video preview screen, where you can adjust your camera and audio settings and preview how your video will appear on the call.

From this screen, you can select your preferred device using the dropdown menus under 'Camera', 'Microphone', and 'Speakers'

You can also preview your video based on the camera selection, or disable your video by clicking the 'Video Camera icon'.

Once you are happy with your settings, click on the blue 'Join Call' button to join your video call. 

 

To change your video source from within the Video Call:

1. Click on 'Settings' located at the bottom right corner of the screen.

2. Choose Video.

3. From here, you can:

  • Preview your video based on the camera selection.
  • Select and change your video source from the drop-down menu.

4. Click on 'X' to close the side panel and save your selections. Your selections will be saved for future video calls.

 

To change your audio source from within the Video Call:

1. Click on 'Settings' located at the bottom right corner of the screen.

2. Choose Audio.

3. From here, you can:

  • Test your speakers. Clicking on 'Test' will output a sound from your speakers to test that they are working correctly.
  • Test your microphone's volume. You can test your microphone's volume by speaking and observing the green bar's movement.
  • Select your microphone and speaker sources from the drop-down menu.

4. Click on 'X' to close the side panel and save your selections. Your selections will be saved for future video calls.
