We are pleased to announce a Chat option for the Dialer feature during Video appointments.
Video participants can send chat messages while they are in the video call.
To do so, tap or click on the 'Chat' button at the bottom of the Video appointment.
iOS
- Start a Dialer video call in the Doximity app
- Tap on the 'Chat' icon
Android
- Start a Dialer video call in the Doximity app
- Tap on the 'Chat' icon
Desktop
- Start a Dialer video call on the Doximity website
- Click on the 'Chat' icon
Now the Specialist can type a message for the Patient to view.
Once the Patient receives a message, they are prompted on screen and may reply as needed.
PLEASE NOTE: The chat messages will only be available to participants in the call and will be deleted after the video call ends.
