How to Add an Interpreter/Participant Before Inviting a Patient to a Video Call (App – Pro & Enterprise Only)

Enterprise and Pro users can now add an interpreter to a video call before inviting the patient.

Here's how:

  1. Open the Doximity mobile app.

  2. Tap on the Dialer tab.

  3. Select the Video Call icon at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Tap the Add Interpreter button.

You’ll have the option to select a saved interpreter number or enter a new one.

Once the interpreter is added, you can then invite the patient to join the call.

Once the interpreter joins the video call, tap 'Add People' or 'Add Person' to invite the patient.

Setting the Invite Language Before Sending a Video Call Link

iOS

  • Under the 'Add People' menu, choose the language for the invite.

  • Enter the patient’s phone number.

  • Tap ‘Text Link’ to send the invite.

Android

  • Under the 'Add Person' menu, Tap ‘Invite Language’.

  • Select the preferred language and tap ‘Select’.

  • Enter the patient’s phone number.

  • Tap ‘Text Link’ to send the invite.
