The office phone number listed on your Doximity profile will automatically populate as your caller ID number in Dialer. However, you can add or edit your caller ID numbers at any time.
Here's how:
iOS
- Open up the Doximity application on your iOS device and tap on the 'Dialer' tab
- Tap on the 'Gear' icon in the upper right-hand corner
- Tap on 'Caller IDs'
To Add a new Caller ID:
- Tap on the 'Add New Caller ID' button
- Enter a 'Nickname' and the 'Phone Number' you wish to display
- Tap on 'Save'
To Edit your Caller IDs:
- Tap on the 'Edit' button in the top right-hand corner
- Tap on the 'Pencil' icon to the right of the entry you wish to edit
- From here, you can make any updates needed or 'Delete' the selected Caller ID entirely
- Alternatively, to delete a Caller ID, tap on the 'Red Circle' icon located to the left of the number you wish to delete, then tap the red 'Delete' button that appears to the right
Android
- Open up the Doximity application on your Android device and tap on the 'Dialer' tab
- Tap on the 'Settings' button/icon
- Tap on the 'Caller IDs' button
To Add a new Caller ID:
- Tap on the blue '+ ADD CALLER ID' button
- Enter a 'Nickname' and the 'Phone Number' you wish to display
To Edit your Caller IDs:
- Tap on the 'Pencil' icon to the right of the entry
- From here, you can make any updates needed or 'DELETE' the selected Caller ID entirely
