Managing Push Notifications on the Doximity App

Doximity used push notifications sparingly and you have control over what types of push notifications are acceptable. For example, you may care to know immediately if a fax failed to send but not care about new colleague requests.

Here's how to manage your push notification preferences:

iOS

  • Access the Doximity mobile app
  • Tap on the 'News' tab at the bottom
  • Tap on your photo/initials in the top right corner of the screen

If you don't have a profile photo, tap the circle with your initials on it.

  • Tap on the 'Gear' icon located in the upper right-hand corner
  • Tap on 'Push Notifications' to see your push notifications permissions.
  • Once you're on the Push Notifications settings page, tap the button to the right to enable your push notifications. (To turn them off, tap left)

You may need to reboot the Doximity app in order to see the changes.

Android

  • Access the Doximity mobile app
  • Tap on the 'News' tab at the bottom
  • Tap on your photo/initials in the top right corner of the screen

If you don't have a profile photo, tap the circle with your initials on it.

  • Tap on the 'Gear' icon located in the upper right-hand corner
  • Tap on 'Settings'
  • Tap on 'Notification Settings' to see your push notifications permissions.
  • Once you're on the Notification settings page, tap the button to the right to enable your push notifications. (To turn them off, tap left)
