Adding an Audio Only Participant to a Desktop Video Call - Pro & Enterprise Only

First, initiate a Dialer Video call by entering your patient's cell phone number in the blank field and click the green 'Video' icon.

Clicking the green video call button will automatically send a text message to your patient from an 882-86 short number inviting them to join your call.

 

Please note, that the system currently does not allow dialing extensions while using the VIDEO feature and adding a 3rd person to any appointment. If you need to add someone to a Video appointment that requires dialing an extension, you must use the VOICE feature to connect with the person who requires the extension. You must dial the phone number and enter the extension first, before merging the call.

Once you are connected with your patient in the Video room, click on the 'Add' icon at the bottom of the screen.

This will initiate a menu with the following options: Interpreter, Patient Hand-Off, Colleague, Family Member, Copy link to Video.

In order to add someone as an audio-only participant, you will have to select either 'Interpreter' or 'Family Member'.

NOTE: Adding a 3rd person as an audio-only participant will not expose your personal cell number to either party.

You will then be asked to choose the Caller ID you wish to display and to enter the cell phone number of the person you wish to add to the video call. If you are adding an interpreter, you will be able to select a number from your saved interpreter numbers. Click 'Place Call' to initiate the call
