Doximity offers many ways to ensure your account remains safe and secure.
In the current technical environment, we urge all users to review the options below and take action to ensure your account remains safe.
To Secure Your Account And Devices We Recommend That You Take The Following Steps:
- Make sure to choose a strong, unique password that is at least 8 characters, and contains at least: one Capital Letter, one Special Character, and one Digit / Number
- Do not use a password that is linked to any other accounts you use
- Enable two-factor authentication (2FA). Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to accounts and data by requiring two forms of identification to access them.
- If you haven't already, we highly recommend enabling 2FA for added security. You can find instructions on how to do this HERE
- Check your computer / devices for malware.
- We recommend scanning any devices you use to log into your account with a reputable antivirus software to ensure they are free from malware or any other threats.
- Change your passwords often. If you haven't updated your password in some time, we recommend doing so every 6 months.
