In-Call Chat for Dialer Video (Desktop)

We’ve introduced chat for Dialer Video on the Doximity website! You can now send and receive chat messages during a Dialer Video appointment directly from the Doximity website—no need to switch platforms.

Follow the steps below to use this feature on the Doximity website.

 

To use the chat feature:

  • Start a Dialer Video call on the Doximity website
  • Click on the 'Chat' icon at the bottom of the page

Type your message and send it to the patient. Once the message is received, the patient will see an on-screen prompt and can reply directly.

 

 

PLEASE NOTE: Chat messages are only available during the video call and will be permanently deleted once the call ends.
