If your institution has integrated its Epic instance with Dialer, you can start a Dialer Voice or Video call directly from Epic Hyperspace. Users can also take advantage of our texting and voice memo functionalities.
Note: These instructions are specific to Epic Hyperspace. If you are using Haiku, follow these instructions instead.
Click on the “Call with Doximity” button to launch Doximity Dialer from your Epic instance, and an external browser window with Dialer and the patient phone numbers pre-populated will open.
No need to remember accounts and passwords or register your Doximity account. The workflow is streamlined to get you connected with your patient as quickly as possible.
Additional patient phone numbers (i.e. home or work) are available from the drop-down as pointed out by the red arrow above. After selecting your desired phone number, click the Video, Voice, or Text to initiate communication with your patient.
