LanguageLine Integration for Dialer Video

Doximity Dialer Enterprise users can now access on-demand professional interpretation services directly within a Dialer Video call through Doximity's integration with LanguageLine Solutions.

This integration makes it easy to bring a certified interpreter - including ASL interpreters - into your video visit without leaving the Doximity platform, helping you deliver clear, equitable care to patients who prefer or require interpreter support.

NOTE: This is an Enterprise-only feature and is currently available on the Doximity desktop only. Mobile support is coming soon.

How It Works

When you are on an active Dialer Video call on the Doximity website, you can add a LanguageLine interpreter directly to the call using the Add+ flow. Simply select the LanguageLine option, choose the desired language, and a professional interpreter will be connected to your video session. The interpreter joins as an additional participant, allowing the provider, patient, and interpreter to communicate together in real time.

This integration is available for Dialer Video only to add a LanguageLine video or voice interpreter.

How to Add a LanguageLine Interpreter to a Dialer Video Call

  1. Log in to the Doximity website and navigate to the Dialer tab on the left side of the screen.
  2. Start or join a Dialer Video call.
  3. Once connected to your video call, click the Add+ icon at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select Add LanguageLine Interpreter from the available options.
  5. Choose the appropriate language and voice/video option from the list.
  6. A LanguageLine interpreter will be connected to your Dialer video call.
