Doximity Ask allows eligible members to browse CME activities, earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits, and access records of previously completed activities.
To access CME, open Ask and select CME from the Ask toolbar.
The CME section includes two tabs:
- Earn – Browse the CME library, select an article, and read the full topic to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
- Completed – Review CME activities you have completed and access your certificates.
How do I earn CME credit?
Select CME in the Ask toolbar.
- Website: The Ask toolbar is located in the left sidebar under Tools.
- Mobile app: Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner to access the Ask toolbar.
From the CME section, select the Earn tab.
- Browse the available CME library and select the checkbox next to each article you would like to read.
- To select all available articles, select the checkbox next to Add all to reading list at the top of the page.
Read the full topic for each article in your reading list. Once you reach the bottom of an article, the checkbox next to Claim 0.5 credits will automatically be selected.
- At the end of the article:
- Select Next Topic to continue to the next article in your reading list.
- Select Done once you have finished reading the article or all selected articles.
Complete the questionnaire reflecting on what you learned.
- Enter your state and license number, then select the checkbox next to This content is free of commercial bias.
- Submit the activity to receive your CME credit(s).
After you complete the activity, it will appear under the Completed tab.
How do I view completed CME activities and certificates?
Select the Completed tab to review CME activities you have completed and the credits you have earned.
- From the Completed tab, you can:
Review activity details
Select Details next to a completed activity to view the individual articles you read, along with the date completed and credits earned.
Download a certificate for an individual activity
Select Certificate next to the completed activity. Your CME certificate will open as a PDF, which you can then download or print.
Download your CME transcript and certificates
Select Download CME Transcript at the top of the Completed tab.
When prompted:
- Select your state.
- Enter your license number.
- Your license number will appear on the generated transcript.
- Select Download to download your CME transcript and certificates.
Which specialties are currently supported?
Doximity Ask offers CME activities for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
The CME library will display the activities currently available for your specialty
When CME activities are available, they will appear under the Earn tab in the CME section of the Ask toolbar.
