Verified members can manage and update the information displayed on their Doximity profiles. Follow the instructions below for the platform you are using.
NOTE:
Some profile fields cannot be updated directly, including your Name, Medical School, and Specialty.
To request an update to one of these fields, contact Doximity Support at support@doximity.com.
In your email, please include your first and last name, location, specialty, and the email address associated with your Doximity account.
How To Edit Your Profile On The Doximity Website:
- Log in to your Doximity account.
- Once you navigate to your profile, you will automatically be placed in Edit Mode. Edit Mode will allow you to view profile sections that are empty, as well as sections that already contain information.
- Click the (+) Plus button to add a new item to your profile, or click the Pencil button to edit an existing item.
- After making your change, click the blue Save button in the bottom-left corner to save your update.
How To Edit Your Profile On The Doximity App:
- Open the Doximity app
- Tap on the News tab
- Tap your profile photo or initials in the upper-right corner
- Select Profile from the drop-down menu
- Tap the pencil icon in the upper-right corner to enter Edit Mode
- Tap on the profile section you would like to update
- Make your changes, then tap Save. To remove an existing entry, tap the trash can icon.
- When you are finished editing, tap the checkmark in the upper-right corner to exit Edit Mode
- If you decide not to make any changes, tap the X in the upper-left corner to exit Edit Mode
NOTE: Not all fields are currently available to update on the app. If you do not see the item you wish to update displayed on your device, those changes must be completed on the Doximity website.
