Tips for Better Dialer Video Call Quality

Doximity Dialer Video appointments can be joined using either Wi-Fi or cellular data. A weak or unstable internet connection may affect your video and audio quality, cause your call to disconnect, or prevent you from joining your appointment.

If you're experiencing connection issues during a Dialer Video appointment, try the following troubleshooting tips.

How to Improve Your Video Call Quality

  • Check your browser compatibility. Make sure you're using a supported web browser on your device. For more information, see our Browser Requirements for Dialer Video.

  • Try switching networks. If you're having trouble connecting through cellular data, try connecting to Wi-Fi instead. If you're already using Wi-Fi, try turning it off and connecting through cellular data.

  • Move closer to your Wi-Fi router. If your Wi-Fi connection is weak, try moving closer to your router to improve your signal. Restarting your router may also help resolve connection issues.

  • Reduce network usage. Other devices connected to your Wi-Fi network may be using available bandwidth. If your connection is slow, try disconnecting devices that aren't currently in use.

  • Rejoin your video appointment. If you receive the message "Your internet connection is unstable," leave the video call and try joining again using your invitation link.

These steps can help to improve your connection and provide a more reliable video calling experience.
