Doximity provides several tools and security features to help protect your account, personal information, and any patient data associated with your account.
We recommend following the security practices below to help prevent unauthorized access.
Protect Your Doximity Account
Use a Strong, Unique Password
- Create a strong, unique password that meets the following requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character
- Do not use a password that is linked to any other accounts you use.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an additional layer of security to your Doximity account by requiring a second authentication method when signing in.
If you have not already enabled 2FA, we strongly recommend doing so.
For setup instructions, see What is Two-Factor Authentication?
Keep Your Devices Secure
Keep the devices you use to access Doximity protected and up to date.
We recommend:
- Keeping your operating system, browser, and security software updated.
- Using reputable antivirus or security software.
- Scanning your device for malware or other security threats if you suspect it has been compromised.
Reset Your Password
If you need to change your Doximity password, reset your password here.
NOTE: All password links will expire within 30 minutes once requested.
If you believe your password or account has been compromised, reset your password as soon as possible.
