Doximity Single Sign-On (SSO) Overview

Doximity supports Single Sign-On (SSO) for organizations with an Enterprise plan.

SSO allows clinicians to sign in to Doximity using their institutional credentials instead of managing a separate Doximity password.

If your organization is interested in enabling SSO, please contact your Client Success Manager.

How Does SSO Work?

To sign in with SSO:

  1. Go to the Doximity sign-in page.
  2. Select the SSO icon.
  3. Enter your institutional email address.
  4. Continue through your organization’s SSO login flow.

If you do not already have a Doximity account, you will be prompted to complete the registration and verification process as part of the SSO login flow.

Once setup is complete, you can use your institutional credentials to access Doximity through SSO.

Do I Need a Separate Doximity Account for My Institutional Email?

No. You do not need to create a separate Doximity account with your institutional email address.

Instead, you can add your institutional email to your existing Doximity account by following the instructions in our Changing Your Login Email FAQ.

Your institutional email does not need to be set as your primary email address for SSO to work.

We recommend keeping a personal email address associated with your account for account recovery purposes.

Does SSO Work on Both the Mobile App and Doximity Website?

Yes. SSO is available on both the mobile app and Doximity website, and the SSO login flow is the same on both platforms.

Will Anything Change Once SSO Is Enabled for My Organization?

No. SSO is enabled in the background and does not change the standard Doximity login experience.

Users can choose to:

  • Sign in with their regular Doximity login credentials, or
  • Select the SSO icon to sign in using SSO

What Is the Recommended Setup Process for Organizations?

Doximity’s technical team can provide suggested communication copy for your organization to share with end users.

Once SSO is enabled, users should add their institutional email address to their Doximity account so they can access your organization’s Enterprise features.
