What is Ask Evidence in Scribe?

Ask Evidence is an AI copilot built into Scribe that works alongside your generated note. You can use it to refine the note using plain-language instructions, or ask clinical questions, and responses appear in a sidebar next to your note.

How do I use Ask Evidence to refine my note?

1. After your note is generated, Ask Evidence will appear as a sidebar to the right of your note. 

2. Type your instruction in natural language (e.g., "Shorten the HPI") or select one of the preset Smart Edits.

3. Ask will revise the note. Review the result.

4. Accept or reject the changes.

 

Note: Ask Evidence is only available via the Doximity website currently.

What kinds of instructions can I give Ask Evidence?

Use Ask Evidence however feels natural. Type instructions the same way you'd ask a colleague: "expand the HPI," "what's the typical dosing for X," or "reformat this as a SOAP note." If it's about your note or even a clinical question, just ask.

Does Ask Evidence use my full session transcript?

Yes. Ask Evidence has access to the complete transcript from your session, so it can make targeted edits, reformat sections, or answer questions about anything that was discussed during the encounter.
